How do I add fade in to the first sequence in a project after having deleted the first half of said sequence? Story: I load a sequence to the timeline, delete the first half of it. The fade in icon disappears by doing that. I then add a 3 seconds blanc at the start of the edited sequence as learned from Youtube clips, and expect a transition icon to appear between the blanc and the sequence, but no. /Jens

I have something that I am trying to fade-in at 2 seconds. I set the timer for 2 seconds, and play the footage. It starts to fade in as normal (the text is white), but when the transition is done, the text goes glitchy and weird and changes to this: https://i.imgur.com/ikE47l6.png

Hi, I'm new. Sorry if this topic has been covered before, I'm been looking for it unsuccessfully. My question is simple: How can I add a fade in effect to a video on Videopad, just like on Windows Movie Maker? I mean making the video start with a black screen and gradually turn into the actual video. It seems to me like this is a pretty basic thing, but I don't know how to do it on Videopad... Thanks.

The fade in button (the f button in a videoclip) is really convenient for when you use a sniplet of a clip on top of another movie — but why isn't there a similar 'fade out' button?? The effect 'fade out' seems to freeze the picture (the f button does not) so that's a poor substitute.

I looked through the forum and couldn't find this anywhere, but it seems like it should be a simple thing. I have a bunch of clips and I want every one of them to have a .1 fade in and a .1 fade out. Instead of going through the 2 step process of clicking and selecting fade for each clip is there a way to do it for multiple clips at once?
