Hi, I just installed Express Animate this morning and it seems to be a really good tool, but I can't figure out how the Mask Tool works, and it seems there nothing documented about it. Can someone point me in the right direction? -
As I was reading the manual I read a reference... "Dummy objects let you get better control of your animation." and... "You can also parent using dummy objects, which won't be visible when rendering a composition." I don't really understand what a "dummy object" is exactly. Can somebody give me an explanation and perhaps a few examples of when one might use this? Thank you. I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Hi, does anyone know how to add an animation created in NCH Express Animate to my video project created in Video Pad? I want the animation to be the opening bit which will appear in the beginning of each video I intend to create. Many thanks for your assistance. Kind regards Wojtek Poland

Hello! I like Express Animate a lot! Really good software and important that such good soft is free! I have one wish for programmers if possible of couse! PLEASE add the camera, zoom, right, left, up and down moove! It will be so good for animation! If possible aslo I want to see some effects like a rain, snow, fog and shadow for objects, it will be really fantastic! Thanks for such cool soft!

I'm finding there are times in node edit when the nodes and handles virtually disappear. It looks as if a particular colour is specified for these... would it be possible to make them invert of XOR the colour underneath, rather than having a colour which may match the colour your working on?

I've just started using this programme, and think it has great potential. However, I'm finding that when I zoom in on the Canvas Panel to work on detail, there are no scroll bars to move around the view - I can only zoom in to the centre of the Canvas, and if the object I want to work on is at the edge, it disappears! When the zoom exceeds the screen size, could scroll bars appar to get around this please?
