So I've used VideoPad for about five years now, and I've used the "glow" effect countless times. The way it used to work is when you added the effect to a PNG, it would ONLY apply the glow effect to the graphic, not the entire image. But now, it does the latter. It applies the glow affect to the ENTIRE image, not just the graphic. I don't know if I've worded this correctly, so here's some examples: https://imgur.com/a/kxMqk4J So is this a problem on my end? Or is this a bug that needs to be fixed?

Hey, I need help, uh last time before i had the professional version of Videopad, the Shake effect worked perfectly fine. But then when I started using the extra features one, the shake effect wouldn't shake with other effects e.g. Negative. Then a couple days later, the shake effect wouldn't work AT ALL for me. I rlly don't get it lol. Pls help

Why doesn't the Zoom feature work on a picture or clip? It will pull up the window where I set the parameters for how far I want the picture zoomed in to, but when I close out of that window, it's had no effect on the clip. It looks fine when I preview it. There's no button I've found that I have to click to ask it to apply. And this is the only effect I've had this problem with. Is it just a bug?

I have a bunch of vertical video clips that I want to edit together with a few landscape clips. I want to edit all the clips so that they have the vertical video with blurry background to fill up the screen, and save them as new individual clips that I can just pick and choose to add to my project. However when I export the video, it appears to only save one video track, instead of both tracks. So it just saves the original source clip that I have used, instead of including the track underneath it with the zoomed/stretched/blurred effect. It's like instead of saving the sequence that shows the video as I would like it to, it just saves one track. What am I doing wrong?! I've tried so many times and am totally confused. I think I'm using v 7.24

Hi, I have been trying to export a video that I have two shake effects in separate tracks. Everything works well when I export the video except for the shake effects. Neither of them work, and I have tried some other effects that seem to work (transitions also work). I have tried mp4, mkv, and avi file formats.

I've had VideoPad for half a year and I've only been using its default effects when editing my videos and now I want to expand my capabilities by using external plugins. This is my first time using a plugin so I may not know what I'm doing but I did the following: I downloaded a VirtualDub plugin (I got it from Infognition) I extracted it to a folder I load it from the pull-down list of effects in the Video Effects dialog. So I tried to test some of the plugins on a sample video and when I did, nothing changed. I tried adjusting some parameters to see if anything happens but still nothing. Is it because my version of VideoPad doesn't support plugins? Is it because the plugins I downloaded doesn't actually work? Or is it because I had no idea how these things work. When I add a video effect it doesn't save and I don't know why. I add an effect to a clip then save it and then when I open VideoPad Video Editor again it's gone. Is anyone else having the same problem? -
I discovered the following two problems with the audio effect "equalizer" (VideoPad version 7.01 beta): 1. Put any video clip into the timeline 2. Click on "FX" (audio track) and add "Equalizer" 3. Configure the equalizer, and change the graph (don't leave it flat). 4. Problem #1: Try to "Save Preset" - no matter which name you enter, you always get the error "You are not allowed to have a user preset name {your name} same as VideoPad's given preset name". You can't save it. 5. Continue with "Apply" 6. Now split the video clip (e.g. using key "l") into two clips 7. Click on "FX" (audio track) of the second clip and then on "Configue Equalizer". 8. Problem #2: The graph is flat! Splitting the clip seems to reset the graph for the second half of the clip. Can you confirm these problems?

Hi, my zoom effects are gone in the saved video file. I have applied a zoom video effect with many keyframes in it. The Sequence preview shows the video as intended. Exporting it as a video file, the effects don't show anymore. I'm using v4.11 on windows 8.1. Tried different file outputs (.avi etc), same problem. Can anyone help me?

Hey everyone, just a nice idea, ease of life update idea I had is if when you added an amplify effect on audio, the linear graph of the audio increased with the gain. If I have quiet audio and I amplify it, this would make the little spikes show to represent things.

So I recently found voxal and I really like it much like all the other NCH programs that I have but it's missing a few VERY important features. One being an "auto-tune" effect (but I currently don't need that so that's fine) and the other being a "glitch" effect. What a glitch effect would look like would be random/periodic audio stutter mixed with random/period pitch fluctuation (meaning that your voice would kind repeat in a frantic manner and while doing so your voice may rise or lower a bit in pitch then return to normal till then next random moment that the glitch effect takes effect). I would assume it would have a frequentcy option for how often you want it to happen and a strength in htz for how strong or weak the stutter would be and 2 more gauges for how powerful the low pitch would be and one for how powerful the high pitch would be. The end product could sound something like this:

Hello I'm new to Videopad ans started to play around with my first project to make sure it fills my needs I want to apply the same effect to several clips (or sequences) at once, e.g. selecting them, then applying the effect to all selected or aplying same effect to all in a sequence or any other way... or should I have to apply effect to each clip one by one (could be boring for exemple to "resize-to-19:9" or "color-correct" many hundreds clips!!) Thanks in advance for your help Lupusbalo

I can't figure out how to record a song that has both regular level and belt level volumes I have the Rode NT1-A Microphone (it's amazing), so I'm wondering if there's something I can do in the mixing software to help eliminate fuzziness, echoiness, and just flat out different quality from when I sing soft vs. loud. HELP!! Please and thank you
