I'd like to create a title clip, white letters on a black background. I find numerous ways to change background color on a blank clip. There is editor background, text background, full background and of course the color of the black Blank Clip I am using. But how do I change the text to WHITE? Black on black isn't desireable. There is a color box next to the font size selector, and the font style selector. But it doesn't change the color of the text. The text is stuck on black.

Hello, I'm trying to do a trailer for my game but when I add a recorded clip to videopad, it appears much brighter in the program (everywhere, on the clip preview, when I put it in the timeline and also when exported its colors keep bright like this). Can you help with this issue?

I'm running on Big Sur, when i record my screen i lose my colors, my mac is macbook pro 16' retina display, the color records from screen are different.

Hello - Is there a way to change the back ground color of the exported slides? I have cropped white pictures, and the exported video has black around the pictures. Thanks.

some clips on the sequence I have added the zoom or pan and zoom effect. Now I would like to adjust the color of some clips. when added to the effects on a clip that has already been zoomed it crops the clip to the upper right corner. if I color correct a clip I haven’t already zoomed, everything stays normal. but when added to the clips that I’ve already zoomed, it like crops them again, and leaves a bunch of black space around it. ive tried moving the zoom effect up and down the effects list, it doesn’t help. I’ve tried adding color to the whole sequence instead of individually. It doesn’t help. im fairly new to this, so I’m hoping I’m just missing something simple. PLEASE HELP! I’ve worked hard on this . 😓

I have a document that prints the background in 'black' which is a waster of ink. I want to make the background white and print the information in black.

The help says select embroidery and under usage, the number of colours and the number of stitches. The colour and stitches options don't appear. How do I access them, change the defaults?

Hello, In PhotoStage 4.04, I'm not able to found any option to modify the black background color. I need to do that for a ChromaKey effect in Vegas Pro while I made an incrustation of any slideshow over another main vidéo. It's a really big problem to masking black borders each side of pictures. Any perfect workaround coul'd be implementing any option to turn the background transparent but I fear it's not planned in its app. Thank you for help.

Hello all, So, I just starting looking into the effects. The first one that I wanted to use is the 'Old Movie' effect. I want to use this Effect WITHOUT making my video black and white. Of course, old movies are usually in black and white, but my source material is already fairly monochrome (not 100% but, say, 95% as it is all in close related red tints) and I want to preserve that. Seems like a simple thing to me, but maybe this option just wasn't build into this Effect. A more general question: I see we can turn off certain aspects of the overall effect (in this case 'shakes', 'flickers', 'spots' and 'lines') but is there a way to set the extent of these aspects instead of only on or off? I think the shaking is cool, but it is way too much; I'd like to try it on 25% or so; is that possible at all? There's a parameter menu for each aspect, but it's not really intuitive. EDIT I found the VirtualDub "Old Cinema" filter, which is allegedly more adjustable than the in-built 'Old Movie' effect, but when I go its advanced settings section and try to set some parameters, I get the error message " /!\ please enter more then zero" — I even get that message when I do not change anything at all! Is this a bug?? It would suck if I can never use the advanced settings EDIT #2 I found that changing the Color correction settings from No Changes to Manual linear, checking the Fade color effects, and changing the Count frame at the bottom into anything large, makes the filter work. I find it strange that the default values of the advanced settings can't be parsed by the program.

Hello, I've got one of those ClimaxDigital usb capture devices and the bundled software kept crashing so I found Debut and after a trial managed to work out what was wrong in many of the settings. For one I'm in the UK so had to set it up for PAL M format rather than the NSCS or whatever it defaults to. So I got it working, kind of. I can import and the software looks and works smoothly. I'm impressed. The only issue seemed to be the image is in black and white. I thought maybe that was a limitation of the free version so I registered for the pro version. Alas it still happens. I know its not the device because the bundled software showed colour capture for a few seconds before it crashed. What can I do to ensure I get full colour capture?

Hello everybody, I am new to Videopad. Recently, I have encountered a problem. I filmed a discussion with 2 different cameras and when i combined them in the same video - it looked very inconsistent and unprofessional. I tried to play with colors and brightness effects to make it look similar, but it only made it worse. Can you give me any suggestion how to make them look as close as possible? Maybe there is some automatic tool that can do this for me? Thanks in advance! Dmitri

I have a problem with Debut and Windows 8. When I record a video, all the window borders and colors continue to flicker and change from a lighter to a darker tone. Is there a setting I need to change? Thank you
