I have $3/m subscription for my iPhone 11 and can’t do what I think is a simple function. When I paste the mix so I can hear both play at the same time the pasted mix only plays in left ear (no stereo). I’m using the basic plug in ear phones that come with the iPhone, no bluetooth. I tried sliding the L/R button all the way to the right no go, tried the middle no go, both play the left ear only. The main/original plays both (stereo) but I can’t get the pasted mix to play stereo. I have both the main and mix selected at stereo (not mono), I’ve tried different formats but nothing works. If I play the mix by itself in the WavePad it plays in stereo. But when I paste the mix and then listen in the WavePad hoping to hear both mix and main in stereo the mix plays left only, while the main plays stereo. OMG someone help!! My ear phones work fine, they work in other apps as they should both in stereo. I’ve tried uninstalling than reinstalling still does left only. I am restoring my purchase does that carry over the incorrect settings I’m trying to clear? It’s assumed uninstalling resets everything back to default, normal. What’s frustrating is that I love this app AND I did not have this problem until the last month or so. I have been using it for about 2 years and up until now it has been great… what am I missing here? Is something unchecked, did I change a setting and not realize? Please help!!

Maybe a dumb question, but how do I record in mono? I searched the manual, found a few posts about it saying to "press the Stereo button" (where is that?), or converting stereo to mono, but can't figure it out. Thanks! Scott

Hi, I am new to WavePad. I am not getting stereo tracks when I record music from my USB turntable. I've been told that the native Windows USB input device does not support stereo, that I need ASIO4ALL. I've installed that and I see it from the Device list under the Recording tab but I'm unable to get a signal from it. The only one that I can record is the Microphone (USB Audio CODEC). Has anyone had this experience and is there a solution? Thanks, Scott

Hi everyone This is a new issue on MixPad that hasn't happened to me before, but now it's with every export. When I listen to my song in MixPad, it's perfect. When I export it, it has little crackles in it through out. My settings are "no surround" (it comes up every time I click export), mp3, constant bitrate at 256. The render midi is grayed out and ticked. Could someone please advise as soon as possible? Cheers

I have installed V1.30....on two machines. One is XP and the other Vista..... Both are running BUT the stream is mono though I am feeding stereo audio from the same source. I can set the audio to one channel and it still comes out mono on BOTH channels on a phone or PC listening to the stream. IS there something wrong or is this normal? I could not find anything in the help menu or manual. Surely I have missed something but I cannot see how. Would appreciate an answer asap. Tnx Chris in SE Texas of course

I am working with WavePad 5.68 (registered), editing stereo voice recordings and converting them to mono. When I convert, either using Edit - Convert Channels or using Save File As and selecting Mono in the Format field, the overall volume falls by about 6dB. I guess this is due to the software taking the average of Left and Right amplitudes, instead of simply adding left and right. This introduces problems of distortion and exaggerated noise, when I then boost the level back up to normal. Is there another way to convert stereo to mono at full volume? One way that seems to work is Edit - Split file - into its Component Channels, then use Edit - Paste Mix to recombine them. This is messy and time-consuming; surely there's a better way? Any suggestions gratefully received.
