So, I've always had this major issue with VP. Let's say I need to insert some sound and I need to extend the video to match it. So, I find some point with still frames and I want to extend that ("play it slower") over the extra audio duration. That is not what happens. What happens is I split the video in still frames, for a clip consisting entirely of still frames. I extend it to the desired length. It REPLAYS video that would have been in that position before the audio pushed it out. Yeah. So it literally plays the video that was there before the audio was inserted, over the duration of the inserted audio, and video then REPEATS when the extended clip ends and the original video resumes. No idea why and it's super aggravating. I've looked for settings, some kind of secret knowledge so I know why this happens and how to make it not happen. No idea. Help!

Hi, I have a short video of dimensions 1280 X 720 pixels. My requirement is to use it for FB ads by making it 1080 X 1080 pixels. The plan is to do it in 2 steps. 1. Scale the video to 84% (0.84) in both the directions so that the depth/width becomes 1075pixels(which can be taken as 1080 for practical purpose). 2. Crop the video by in 1:1 ratio so that it becomes 1075 X 1075 pixels, which serves the requirement. I executed step 1 but after that there is some blank space in display area as the dimensions of display area remains the same, even after scaling. This results in my video not occupying the designated area fully. How to solve it by eliminating the blank space? Please help. Regards, Ashiq

I just upgraded to the most recent version and noticed resizing a clip only ripples the track that clip is on, is there a way to ripple all tracks in the sequence? It sort of feels like a glitch to be honest.

I am into geneaolgy and I want to enlarge small pictures to 5x10, so I can attach them to Ancestory program. When I send regular small pictures they are so small that you can hardly see them. When I enlarge a small picture to a larger one on the photo pad, when I try to print it, the picture comes out of the printer as the small one. Did I get the wrong program? Duane

Hello everyone. I am trying to create a simple GIF animation using 5 images and some overlay images (mainly arrows). I have added the images in the correct sequence and am now adding the images to be used as overlays. I add the effects Position and Scale to get the overlays where I want them but for some reason the settings are not kept. The overlay images returns to its original size. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a know bug? All images are PNG format and I am using version 3.22 of VideoPad. Here is a video showing what I am doing: https://copy.com/wjzG6AsqldWG Thanks for any suggestions!
