After installing a new update on videopad my videos won,t process all the way (the green line above the videos). It will go about halfway then stop or sometimes not even at all. I've tried to the clear the cache on the videos and it doesn't work and closed and restarted videopad and that does nothing also. I'm also new to editing so any tips would be helpful, thanks.

I use expressburn frequently. I like it a lot. Easy to use. However, after each burning activity it leaves a cache file on my storage disk. Is there a way to automatically delete the file after burning is complete?

I migrated a Postgres database 9.1 doing 300K transactions/hour from a server with Red Hat OS, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2670 0 @ 2.60GHz / 16 Core, 64 GB RAM, 240 GB x 4 Intel SSD TO Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v4 @ 2.40GHz / 56 Core, 128 GB RAM, 2TB nvme PCI SSD, RANDOM READ 450000 iops, RANDOM WRITE 56000 iops. CentOS 6.9. Over a period of time the server slows down and the amount of data processed get reduced. If I clear the cache manually (sync; echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches) then the data processing resume to maximum level. Again after some time with load, the performance deteriorates in terms of an amount of data processed. The cache memory shows it has been fully consumed. pg configuration : datestyle = 'redwood,show_time' db_dialect = 'redwood' default_text_search_config = 'pg_catalog.english' edb_dynatune = 90 edb_redwood_date = on edb_redwood_strings = on lc_messages = 'en_US.UTF-8' lc_monetary = 'en_US.UTF-8' lc_numeric = 'en_US.UTF-8' lc_time = 'en_US.UTF-8' shared_preload_libraries = '$libdir/dbms_pipe,$libdir/edb_gen,$libdir/plugins/plugin_debugger,$libdir/plugins/plugin_spl_debugger' timed_statistics = off archive_command = 'rsync -a %p slave:/opt/PostgresPlus/9.1AS/wals/%f' archive_mode = on listen_addresses = '*' log_destination = 'syslog' syslog_facility = 'LOCAL0' logging_collector = on log_line_prefix = '%t' max_wal_senders = 4 port = 6432 wal_keep_segments = 128 wal_level = hot_standby temp_buffers='50MB' constraint_exclusion = on autovacuum = on enable_bitmapscan = off max_connections = 200 shared_buffers = 32GB effective_cache_size = 96GB work_mem = 167772kB maintenance_work_mem = 2GB checkpoint_segments = 64 checkpoint_completion_target = 0.9 wal_buffers = 16MB default_statistics_target = 100 Thank you

I'm a new user of Photostage. I designed my project with stores stored on a router's storage link, the trouble is that setup is causing it to operate SLOWLY, so much so that I've determined I need to simply plug the external hard drive in directly and do it that way. The trouble is I see now way to quickly have it "refresh all," I have to refresh every single file one at a time. Is there a way around this? The other thing is, EVERYTIME I fire the program up it wants to "update cache" and that takes forever. Is there a way to have it skip this step? It's such a time hog.

I recorded a load of video, then my computer crashed. On reopening, the clips were missing from the project where they should have been saved. I have located the file for cache data. None of the boxes were checked in in options for emptying cache data, so everything should still be there. My question is: Is it possible to restore the video clips from this cache? If so, how do I proceed?

Had opened a project (about 4 h of video) with multiple short clips identified in the file. Viewed one particular clip successfully. Then set In and Out points for another section and clicked the green down arrow to place it in the sequence. Subsequent attempts to view the original clip failed: all that appeared in the clip preview was a single frame from the afore-mentioned In/Out segment. Tried creating a new project with the same original file, but with the same (unsuccessful) results. Final resolution was to go into Options > Disk and clear the cache. When I subsequently re-opened the original project, I could successfully view the clip again. However, it takes FOREVER to rebuilt the audio cache, so I can't do any editing before that step is completed. FYI of the developers - there is a problem with dealing with corrupt caches. Would also be nice to have more granularity of rebuilding the audio caches on large files so that editing can commence before all the caches are rebuilt.

Ok, after upgrading to 3.02 (NIGHTMARE!) and then downgrading again it seems when I open a project it is taking ages (approx 25mins) It never used to be this slow before and I don't know what I have changed. It appears to be recreating the cache each time and not saving and I'm sure it used to be before (I have checked settings and I DO NOT have the boxed ticked to delete on exit so it can't be that). Cache is stored in a temp folder though, do I need to change where it is stored for it to save? Sorry if this is a really novice question but would really appreciate the help from any expert out there please. This is making working with the software really difficult and I have paid for it now so I'm stuck with it. I've tried other software but they seem to throw the audio sync out on MKV files so really want to make this work. Thanks in advance for your help :-) Angie
