We have 3 computers linked with the same Dropbox account and have a sync issue with quotes. We edit an existing quote and make changes and then the next day or the day after it all reverts back and the changes are gone like we never edited the quote. It just seems that the 2 PCs are not downloading the data from the main PC and are instead overwriting it with older versions of recently edited quotations. How can this be fixed?

I have an issue that crops up now and then and across several computers that I have been testing Express Invoice on. The Issue: When creating a new invoice I go through all the usual like adding items to the invoice from the item list then click either Record and Preview or Record and Email. The invoice pops up on screen but is blank with with no items showing. in the date field of the invoice it shows INVALID DATE in caps. Further playing around in my attempt to try find out what makes this happen I see that if I disconnect from Dropbox it never happens. After a creating an invoice that failed with the error shown above if I simply recreate the invoice again it always works the 2nd time around. I get this same issue on the following: iMac (BigSur) Macbook Pro (BigSur) Macbook (Catalina). Its occurring on my office network, my home network and also on a 4g test network. -
I am using the free version of Express Invoice Invoicing Software V 7.4 It is working absolutely fine and it says for non-enterprise use only. The thing I wanted to know is that Can I print the invoice in different language format ? Do I change the fonts or is their any other way ? I want the invoice to be printed in my own mother language other than English. How do I do that ? Can anyone answer this. Thanks for your time !!

I have can't get Copper, Express Invoice, Express Accounts to sync with Inventoria. I have set the info and the ports are good. Problem is when I try to do it in the other programs I keep getting a error message "The server application has no locations defined or does not support locations" I have imputed 4 locations into Inventoria List Locations but I keep getting this error message. Has anybody else experienced this before, if so how did ya'll fix it. Thnx

Hola, soy usuario con licencia del progrma Express Invoice. Mi consulta hace referencia a que no consigo averiguar si con el mismo programa se puede trabajar en ordenadores distintos y a la vez permanecer sincronizado . Por ejemplo, en cuanto en cualquiera de los ordenadores ingrese un cliente o factura nueva, dichos datos queden registrados y guardados, (imagino que alguna nube como Dropbox). Intenté sincronizar y darme de alta en Dropbox, pero no consigo nada de lo anteriormente expuesto. Un saludo, gracias.

Running version 5.05 on Mac. I have 3,00 invoices and 3,300 items. When editing an invoice, I hit "Add Item" and the system lags for about 30 seconds when I select the quantity field.

I am trying to add a custom column (B) -Let's Call it "Persons" - that will multiply against the "Qty" - I'd Call this "Qty/Hrs" - column (A), and the "Unit Price" Column (C) for the constructioncompany that I manage. I made a excel sheet that has it, which we've been using, but I'd like to move fully to NCH Invoicing Software. So, the reason for this is that I can multiply the amount of hours "x" that "y" amount of employees worked on a specific project, on which to charge the unit price of "z" amount of dollars per hour. For Example: 4 men worked 12 hours on a project on which each man was charging $35 per hour. To use the first figures, the (A) Column above would equal 12. (B) Column=4, and (C)=35. For a total of 1,680. How can I add this column (B) which the "total" column would multiply?

My old computer crashed with Express Invoice on it. I haven't made a backup for it in a very long time. I now have a new computer with a new hard drive and new operating system on it. Express Invoice is working on my new computer. I am able to see the old hard drive contents via a USB connector but not run it since it is configured for my old computer . Does anybody know what personal files I need to take off the old hard drive to make Express Invoice work on my new computer like it did on the old computer? Thanks for your help!!

Hi, Bought an installed second copy of express invoice on one of ours systems yesterday, version 5.2. We already have version 4.xx on another system and that seems to work fine. On the new version however, when I select invoice list, a dropdown box with clients name doesn't seem to appear as it does on the old version. All I need to do is to be able to see all invoices issued to a particular client rather than having all invoices on the screen. Please help. Thanks.

I'm using Inventoria and Express Invoice. Syncing my products from Inventoria to Express Invoice is working except for the quantities. I'm using multiple locations and every time I update a location the quantities for the other locations are set to zero. Is it only possible to work with one location or is this a syncing error?

I used # in an earlier version of Express Invoice as my prefix for a quote, invoice, order, and receipt. Now, prefix characters automatically change to A, no matter what I entered. Is there a setting for this or is this a bug in version 5.01?

Hi All. When using Express invoicing web access via a browser I can apply a discount to individual items but I cannot apply discount to the overall invoice total..? This option is available when creating an invoice using the full software version and is visible as an overall discount item when viewed via web access. How can I apply an overall discount to a invoice using web access without applying discount to each item listed in a invoice....?? Any feedback welcome. thanks

I installed both express invoice and accounts on the same PC. When running express invoice from PC direct it gives me the option to update payments to express accounts. This option is not available when using web access. Please help me on how to do this. Better still how can i link the two programs when using web access. Thanks

Hi, i just bought express invoice and it is working fine. Now i am testing inventoria trial version. Inventoria can be connected to express invoice. The stock in inventoria auto update in express invoice. whenever i do sales at express invoice , the quantity reduced at inventoria as expected. BUT the sales report at inventoria not updated. i can't see any sales report if i do sales at express invoice. whenever i do "sell stock" at inventoria, the sales report updated and can see sales & profit. Anyone, please advice how to fix this. Thanks Shan

Hi I would appreciate any advice on this , When creating a new invoice I input the 'Item code' for an existing product that we have used before but would like to be able to change the 'unit vale' and have the program then store the altered item with the new price for future use ? I need to change the invoice numbers on some invoices already created. There doesn't seem to be any functionality in Express Invoice to allow editing of numbers? Can I use phpmyadmin or something similar to get it the database, and change them there? Where does the MySQL database sit on the Mac version? I am at the point of needing to capture payments, but do not want to do this until the invoice numbers have been changed, so rather urgent. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Can also access and use each program from web. express invoice crashed every time I tried to add item on invoice PROBLEM: Express inventory shows zero for QTY in everything, I tried migrate function and does not import the QTY! all part numbers and details are there but when I go to add items on invoice it immediately crash's due to zero stock. ODDLY: if I add inventory directly using Express invoice(add new item) its shows correctly and adds to invoice properly. - if I add item in express invoice it works correctly but does not show in item/description,qty in inventoria it randomly says in txt box right upper corner screen "Synchronization error - QUAN" LOL yes but how do we fix it!

Hi there, We've been using Inventoria and are fairly pleased with it. We're now trying out Express Accounts, but can't figure out what information it wants in the dialog box for the integration. Which is the server program? Access Authorization Code? Address or IP of server program? I assume it means the web access IP given in Inventoria? Port# used by server program? I assume the port used by Inventoria? Location name for business profile? When I put in my registration code, the web access for Inventoria, and the port used by Inventoria, then search for locations, it comes up with "Conn." I update and it gives me an error message. Also, another question that may need a different post: If I only want to track inventory and accounts receivable, do I need Express Accounts? Or will Express Invoice do the trick? I want to be able to produce monthly reports of sales, sales by item and a past due report. Thanks!

I am currently evaluating express invoice for our small company and it works quite well. However we are located in Thailand and Google Play will not allow us to install the Android App. We are an English Language School and all our employees who would use this app are native English speakers and use up to date Samsung phones. Would it be possible to download the apk file directly (free version) and then after evaluation, if successful, the paid app? Thank you
