  1. 1. I have a mixture of photo JPG and video clip MTS files in a Win10 directory. 2. They all have the correct "Date Modified" and "Date Created" dates and times as shown in the explorer window. 3. If I sort on the explorer window using "Date Modified" or "Date Created" dates and times, then all files are shown in chronical order of the date and time taken. 4. I then import all the files into Photostage and it then shows all the files in the media panel. 5. Before using the sort buttons I noticed that all the MTS files are grouped first in the correct chronological order. Following these files are all the JPG files also in chronological order. 6. When I use the "Creation Date" sort button there is no change at all. I would have expected the files to be reordered in the same sequence as in Win10 step 3 above. 7. During the input process you might find that the dates have been stripped from Photostage but I cannot verify this. 8. I then tried importing the JPG files only and moved them to the timeline. 9. I then mixed them up sequence wise and did a sort from the drop down box and they all ended up in the correct chronological order as in Win10. 10. I then repeated step 9 but with the MTS files and this was correct as well. 11. It appears that when the files are a mixture of JPG and MTS files and then sorted they are then grouped by file extension, i.e. all the JPG and MTS files are sorted in their own groups. 12. It seems that somewhere in your code there is a wrong script causing this and can be easily remedied. 13. I have noticed on various sites on the web that I am not the only one with this problem using Photostage. 14. Apart from all my research and tests I do not know if there is more I can do to help. I hope you can correct this problem for all users of your product. I am quite happy to inform people on the net that this issue has now been resolved. In fact if I could speak directly with the software engineer about this issue then it may be easier to correct the problem. I look forward to your reply. Barry
  2. I am having a great deal of difficulty adjusting all of my sound tracks to a common level so that the slideshow is fiddle free on the playback volume control. It was an earlier version of Photostage which seemed to have this feature built in. I have purchased this product which at the time seemed to be just what I required. Now with this issue it has become a problem on long slideshows especially when they are viewed by friends both here and overseas. Also to manually adjust when compiling a slideshow which is quite long with many sound clips it becomes very labour intensive. Where to next. Barry New Zealand
