Is anyone able to losslesly join or cut the above mp4 in Videopad?

That's a good point. I've only turned hvc1 on recently but none of my old files work either, nor do my sisters nexus 5x mp4s which are avc I'd assume

So I have to manually reduce the 30fps to 29.97 (I'm in uk) for lossless to work? This can't be right

It's all standard on pixel-30 it says but thinks its 29.something. Shouldn't matter though if lossless?

Yes I have. However, I'm still getting a whole lot of re-encoding happening. For example, I take two 10 second clips on my pixel 3 at 1080p 30fps, drop them into VideoPad, put them on the timeline next to each other, and export as lossless - the whole clip is now transcoded. What exactly am I supposed to do to get it working losslessly?

Hi, Years ago I was asking about proper lossless mp4 and m2ts support for export in original formats. Now I see it supports lossless export in other formats, but still I am unable to simply edit together/cut two mp4 files from a Pixel 3 phone and save/export them losslessly without re-encoding, which isnt lossless. Will true lossless support ever happen?

Hi, I see this app is available on portableapps.com (which may or may not be legit for you guys) and I was wondering if you could release a portable version which doesn't need installing?

I had exactly this issue, which was resolved on a different computer, and actually works on my problematic pc too. Have oyu tried the latest version (assume yes) and have you been sent a debugging version? I had great support from the NCH team, and after emailing logs over the issue seemed to fix. Checked out my threads on this? TBH without a log it's difficult to help

Any chance we could get .ts/.m2ts lossless editing in VideoPad? That would be perfect for me! I've used a few free lossless cutters/joiners but they're in no way comparable to VP; it's certainly doable, and I think using open source libs. Any change of this, guys?
