  1. This is interesting as I "scroll forward" at the beginning of a music file on wavepad; the sound of the file begins to play actually before it reaches the point where you can see the waves of data that have been recorded on the file. When will the sound begin playing when you burn and listen to the file on an audio cd?
  2. Thanks Telephony! I appreciate your help on that! By saving (or modifying) it as stereo, do you mean I may add something new (like a harmony vocal for e.g.) to it? Or do you mean Wavepad will seek to give it a "Sense" of stereo sound by applying some type of stereo effect to it?
  3. Forum: As I record a "Mono" recording from my old cassette deck, onto a new file in Wavepad:; if I have the Wavepad Options >General> set to "Stereo" will WP seek to somewhat simulate a "Stereo effect"? or will it record it "as is" which is "Mono"? Thanks!
  4. Thanks for your reply. The thing is, they are not identical. But rather there are variances as in a 'stereo' recording. What's even more interesting is when I previously recorded the same cassette with the Wavepad set to "stereo" the LED's read (upon playback) with a single identical, thick line of light; as in complete mono. And to top it off: when I compare the two files, they sound slightly different...almost like one is trying to be stereo and the other one isn't. Anyone else run into anything like this?
  5. I am currently transferring mono recordings of songs played and sung into a tape recorder onto my computer. Strange thing is, is when I set Wavepad to "mono" for the conversion (from analog to digital), when I play back the transferred recording via wavepad on my laptop, the LED at the bottom appears to be showing 2 channels of lights (one on top of the other) as it would for stereo. Any idea why this would be happening?
