  1. Hi "I would like to see more options for altering text...whether in blank/title screens or in overlay." What about enabling variations of outline thickness, drop shadow and perhaps a few other text modifications. Perhaps also the ability to save favourite text clips for use in other overlays. I know you can copy and paste to overlay, but can you do this from one project to another?
  2. Hi Does anyone Know how or if you can make a DVD automatically loop back to the beginning and play continuously, directly from VideoPad version 3. You can do this in Power Director. I can do this by altering the final .ifo file but this is a bit long winded as you dont seem to be able to render DVD format files to Hard disk in VP 3. Thanks
  3. Hi Any changes since last version? Still no version increment numerator. Also used to be able to write to iso file in first version Beta3. Can no longer do this as it says you have to purchase VideoPad Editor Professional to build your project to the selected output format. That seems difficult as it is a BETA version and is not available to purchase! Means have to save to another format then make an iso file or DVD file on hard drive using an external program. As you can use the Beta version to burn to DVD can you consider making DVD files to Hard drive or iso file. Need access to .ifo files to modify before burning to Disc. Thanks!
  4. Have been using Videopad Beta 3 version for a while now and it has taught me a lot. I now prefer it to ver2 despite a number of problems and faults. Will be submiting my suggestions soon, for what they are worth. In the mean time can you give the Beta 3 download file an incremental number as it develops, so that it is possible to know when it has been changed? I would like to continue to use V3 and see how it improves. Any possibility of making a 64 bit version for multi screens with floating bins and sequence/editing viewer windows? Also every time you change anything V3 seems to render those changes I presume to produce new thumbnails etc, This sometimes taking quite a while especially if you have an overlay on a long sequence. This means you cant test or scrub the sequence until it is finished. Any way of speeding this up like Photoshop CS6 video? Prefer Videopad though as can burn straight to DVD or iso.
  5. Nice so far but can you adjust heights of Tracks more than the collapsed or expanded? Is it possible to detach Clip bins, Clip preview and Sequence preview for use on more than one monitor setups.
  6. Thanks for the response. To answer the question why was the clip out of synch the answer is I don't know. The clip was not one of mine, they are all fine in synch. It was supplied by someone else! Perhaps it was a codec problem. Although I really like the intuitive feel of VideoPad I am already finding some of its limitataions. Is it that difficult to make the sound tracks lockable, to the main video track, if rquired? VideoPad has taught me a lot about simple video edits but now I think I will have to try to find (and learn) a more complex video editor. Perhaps I am asking to much of VideoPad. I want to do some Insert edits and I can't find a way of doing that in VideoPad. Many thanks for your help.
  7. Hi all What a super program VideoPad is but I have a problem with it! I have a video clip and the sound is out of synch. Ok unlink video sound and transfer it to sound track 1, move sound track 1 clip to match video time and problem solved, back in synch. Insert new video clip in front of video clip already on video Track and of course video clip moves up the timeline but Audio track 1 does not. So now audio track 1 wayout. Is there any way of locking an audio track to the video track like you can with the Overlay Track? I suppose a work around would be to synch up the audio and video and save as a new video then add it as new media in new project. This means you have finalise all you editing for that particular clip before inserting it in a film and I would like more freedom than that. Anybody got any thoughts on this one? Is there a manual that would help as the help files are quite sparse? Many thanks
