  1. Hi LLN, Yes, if you purchase MixPad after the trial has expired, all your projects will be available. Regards, Ben
  2. Hi des, You need to move both the project file and the project data folder. Let's say you have a project named mysong. You will need to move both "mysong.mpdp" and "mysong.mpdp.ProjectData" and they must stay in the same directory together. Once that is done, the project should work just fine. Regards, Ben

    New to MP3

Hi Alicia, Can you please explain a bit more about what you are trying to do? Are you trying to upload an mp3 recording to a website? Regards, Ben
  4. Hi there, Can you please describe the steps you are taking to try and get MixPad to use the keyboard? Regards, Ben
  5. Hi Bernie, The Fender Mustang GT 100 Amp has an unusual driver configuration. Are you recording from this amp using the ASIO drivers it recommends to download? Regards, Ben

    Peter Gross

Hi Peter, This message will appear if the project file is no longer located in the same directory as the files which contain the audio data. Have you moved your project files around at all? Regards, Ben
  7. Hi there, Sorry, but currently, MixPad is not able to use an external clock for syncing. Regards, Ben

Hi Keith, What version of MixPad do you have? Regards, Ben
  9. Hi onekingprods, On the Home tab there is a button "Export Mix". This will export your whole project to any audio format you would like. Regards, Ben
  10. Hi there, When you say you recorded the piano via USB cable, were you recording the MIDI? If so, you will need to change the tempo of the project, not the sample rate. You can change the project tempo in the small toolbar just above the main project area. Regards, Ben
  11. Hi Dawn It is quite likely that Groove is detecting the music you have used and downloading what it thinks is the correct art work from an online database. On the Editing tab of MixPad you will see an "ID Tag" button. Use this to edit the meta data included with your project. You can add your own artwork here. Then re-export your project. Regards, Ben

Hi Keith, On the Tools tab you will find a "Reverse" button which can do this. Regards, Ben
  13. Hi Bullitt3817, There is not really a direct way built into the program for doing this. What I would suggest is you create a click track using the beat maker (found on the tools tab). Regards, Ben
  14. Hi MichelleC4ever, I hate to give the age old catch all advice, but have you tried rebooting? Sometimes devices can get temperamental and need a restart. Regards, Ben
  15. Hi NeilR, There are some aspects of the mp3 standard which are still under patent and must be licenced. Joint stereo and low bit rate support fall in this category. Joint stereo can provide a smaller file for the same bit rate - especially on stereo files with very similar left and right channels. Low bitrate support is useful if you have extremely tight storage requirements. Regards, Ben
  16. Hi Parker, The first thing to check is that the gain on your focusrite is turned up. The small backlit ring around the gain knob should illuminate when it is receiving a signal from the keyboard. The second thing would be to check the output volume of the keyboard. The third thing is to go back to the track options and check which input channel you are recording from. You currently have it set to [ASIO] FocusRite USB ASIO / Mono which is correct, but you also need to tell it which input channel - in this case I think the FocusRite Solo designates the instrument jack as Input 2. Regards, Ben
  17. Hi Keith, That actually looks like an oversight in the current version. I will raise it as a bug and have it fixed. Regards, Ben
  18. Hi Sarastro, I replied to your original thread. Hopefully that should sort you out. Regards, Ben
  19. Hi Sarastro, I think you are experiencing a cache bug we had in WavePad around that time. You can fix it by deleting all the .nchmp3 files in the following folder: C:\Users\[Your Name]\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\WavePad Regards, Ben
  20. Hi HowieB1967, mike F's method will certainly work and has the advantage of ensuring you are always working with a lossless format. However, if you save a file as mp3, the next time you click on save, the program should automatically select mp3 as your default format. Same goes for all the other formats too. Regards, Ben
  21. Hi mike F I am discussing the issue of the dB meter range with a few others. Hopefully we should be able to get you a good resolution soon. Regards, Ben
  22. Hi stephen1974, Which split option are you using? Regards, Ben
  23. Hi Deeaudio, I can assure you there is a free version of WavePad. Can you please contact our support team (http://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html) with the details of the page and link you tried to download it from? Regards, Ben
  24. Hi Stevejl, Can you describe step by step how you are recording? Please note that if you want to record on a second track while listening to the first track, you must be doing so with headphones. Otherwise the microphone will pick up what the computer is playing. Regards, Ben
